Climate Change and Art

Recently I have developed a series of sculptures that comment and inform the viewer on climate change by featuring quotes from famous people. It seems appropriate that the quotes are difficult to read as many people around the world are finding it difficult to agree and act to help control global warming!

This sculpture features cross letters - at the beginning of the postal system people would write as normal in one direction then turn the page and write over their words, saving on paper and postage. It was still possible to read these letters. I have taken this idea one stage further and continued to turn my work until it is only possible to read the occasional word!
